Welcome

Welcome to Maidstone Borough Council’s webcasting site.

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our Council meetings capture the live information and send it, via our provider public-i to anyone who would like to view the meeting. Through the use of your internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Adobe's Flash player you can view the meetings live from the comfort of your own home.

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of a meeting again, you can view the archive of the webcast. The archives allow you to view a meeting and, through the use of the index points, jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.

Meetings being webcast

Maidstone Borough Council webcasts meetings for Council, Planning Committee and our four Service Committees as well as other meetings of wide public interest.

Upcoming webcasts are listed on the right of this page, as well as recent webcast available to view from our archives. The archive of each meeting will normally be available two working days following the meeting.
